Flat Tops Scenic Adventurous Ride

Approximately 50 mile loop from the parking lot

DESCRIPTION:  You must trailer the OHV to the starting point that is 35 miles from Meeker, requiring around 1.5 hours travel time. Must be at the starting point and ready to ride at 9:00A.M.  This is a long, full day ride, but with grand vistas, lakes and wild flowers. 

LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE: MODERATE to DIFFICULT - with numerous steep, rutted off-camber and rocky sections. Several small streams will be forded. Very experienced riders only.

ROUTE:

• To get to the Starting Point, take the Connector Trail along side HWY 13 then turn right onto County Road 8 traveling 20 miles, turn right onto County Road 10 for 1.5 miles, then turn right again onto County Road 17/Forest Service 245 for 13 miles, then turn left onto County Road 215/Forest Service 601 for 0.5 mile to parking area.
