Yellow Jacket Historic Ride

Approximately a 43 mile loop ride from the parking lot

DESCRIPTION: This ride will pass through the historic Uranium Peak mining district. Towards the end of the ride the group will visit the Milk Creek Battlefield Park. Brochures will be provided that cover the 1879 Battle at Milk Creek.

EXPERIENCE LEVEL:  MODERATE - with sections of more difficult trail, having exposed rock, off-camber surface, and rutted trail. Riders must be experienced and have OHVs with good clearance.

RESTRICTIONS:  62 inch OHV width restriction

• Start and finish at the Yellow Jacket Pass Parking Lot at the junction of County Road 15  & County Road 48. If riding to the parking lot, leave 30 minutes early.
